  A white residue on your balm formula is often called “bloom” and is usually caused by the natural crystallization of certain plant butters like shea butter or cocoa butter within the balm. This happens when exposed to temperature changes where solid fats separate and form visible white specks on the surface. This will not affect the formula and is a cause of natural and organic ingredients. 

*Note:  Body Tallow Balm naturally liquefies at temperatures above 84°F. If your jar arrives liquefied, simply place it in the refrigerator until it firms up. Once solid, it can be stored at room temperature. If you notice small beads or lipoids, just stir the balm and let it settle.
